Reflections on Soldering and Hot Glue

I spent more time finishing the front panel of the scoring machine, and finally managed to do so late last night. It honestly took far longer than it should have, as I spent quite a bit of time rewiring. Firstly, you should always prototype your circuit on a breadboard to make sure that it works. Secondly, you should always double check yourself before you solder everything together. Lastly, you should most definitely always triple check before applying hot glue to everything. I wasted far too much time ripping of hot glue because of a few design changes and an inverted LED.

Anyway. Basically done with the prototype, I just need to wire and mount the speaker and finish up the sabre code. Here are some more pictures:
